TGIMBOEJ
I received a TGIMBOEJ (the great internet migratory box of electronic junk) The first 3 pictures are what I removed from the box, the rest is what I added, and what was originally in the box.

I’m still working on them, but it will be nice when it gets going!!!
With all my coin-op machines that only take quarters, what do you do if you only have paper money? As many arcades have change machines, I decided why can’t I have one? I used a solenoid out of an old copier that I parted out, a Picaxe 08M, relay, bill validator, and some old phone warning signs that were given to me. So far I have about $50 in the project, that includes some wood, lock, and hinges for the box.
I would like to give a special thanks to Russell Fergusion for his help in point me in the direction of the Picaxe controller. He does alot of robotics and such and I’m sure I will be working on another project with him.

Up for my entertainment pleasure is a 1970 Williams Strike Zone pinball machine. I went to McKinney yesterday to pick it up for $125, and got back around 11:30. Of course I played around with it a bit, it needs some work, but I knew that from the beginning. I’m looking forward to working on this project!
